polygraphite woofer, and a built in 500 watt amp makes this sub fill any room
with powerful clear bass. We have given you even more control over the way you
tune your subwoofer. An adjustable crossover to custom set the frequency
response, a volume control to set the output and an auto on/off switch to power
on the PA- 10W as soon as that bass hits your sound track. All these features
make the PA-10W one of the strongest powered subwoofers on the market
today.

| Reviewed by: Edward Golden | 2/17/2008 | I began my search for a new subwoofer to replace one that the amplifier had shorted out on.
I intially was going to replace it with the replacement model for the one that I had but having read that the amps on this line of subwoofers has 4 out of 10 go out within 2 years, and mine had only lasted 3 years, I began my search for a new line that met my goals and price range.
My goals was a subwoofer that would provide me the lowest octave in the human hearing range and reproduce all the lowest harmonics or overtones of the larger orchestral instruments. I am refering to such instruments as the tuba, bass drums, base vials. Of course the Head of the Class, the pipe organ.
While I enjoy the sound effects of a good action or scifi movie as much as the next person, that was not my main internest. Mine was classical music primarily.
I chose the pa-10w over other better known brands because i could see by the very high sound pressure readings at one meter, along with comments like it really rocks the house and makes things fall off the walls was not my cup of tea I wanted a sub that would be tight,low distortion, and accurate. I am proud to say that I found it with the pa-10w. The response is flat to 24hz and very clean. I highly recommend this subwoofer. The price is at an excellent point for this quaility.
