PA-6AW All Weather Speakers will bring your musical experience
outside of your home. These speakers are designed to bring out a
wide range of sounds whether they are being used for a Top 40, Classical,
Disco or just plain old Rock And Roll. We have incorporated a single 6 1/2"
polygraphite woofer to deliver subtle but pounding bass. The tweeter is the
clearest tweeter available for home speakers. Thrilling highs can be produced
as high up as the human ear can hear. White metal swivel brackets help mount
these speakers in almost any location. Priced per pair.

| Reviewed by: David Bowman | 6/5/2008 | I'm giving the PA-6AW 4 stars based on the fact that I got them for $80. At $199, I'd give 3 stars. Overall, they've got good transparency and presence. They have decent low end for speakers of their size, although midrange is somewhat absent. The highs are pretty harsh. The first tune I listened to sent me running to the amp with my hands over my ears. I'm a drummer who doesn't have the best high frequency hearing and I generally mix with more high end than my friends like. These speakers were screeching at the top. Properly equalized, these sound pretty good. I like them better than my Polk bookshelf set. I've never owned a pair of outdoor speakers before so perhaps the hyped-up highs are typical for that type? | Rating: * * * * | |
