One Sweet Sounding Speaker
LSi7 sounds just as wonderful as all of its bigger brothers, with a little less bass. Works great for a system not needing as much power, yet it's extremely versatile. You can use it as a front channel or a surround speaker. Lsi7 also has a keyhole slot for easy wall mounting. This speaker is a real gem and will run rings around most bookshelf sized speakers on the market. Add a subwoofer and you've got the whole package

To all appearances an ordinary speaker, the new LSi7 is revealed as a master of pristine audio reproduction when connected to your system! Few compact speakers deliver such sophisticated and incredibly alive sound. Yet, thanks to the outstanding LSi design responsible for some of the best-sounding Polk speakers we've ever heard that's exactly what you get.

How did Polk get a small bookshelf speaker to provide this kind of sound? By not treating it like one! Although some companies use top technologies and build quality in their tower models only, Polk showed real care throughout the LSi Series. The LSi7 boasts a sturdy cabinet that's well-braced to eliminate muddying resonances. It has a 5-1/4" aerated polypropylene Dynamic Balance driver; Acoustic Resonance Control (ARC) design teams with this driver to deliver lush, richly textured vocals and mids, while a Power Port offers satisfying, precise bass. A 1" Ring Radiator tweeter (the same tweeter found on high-end speakers costing $10,000 a pair!) sends out memorable, detailed highs. Once you hear it, you'll understand why audiophiles are sitting up and taking notice of the LSi series.

A speaker that's this good at music is also going to be good at home theater! Use the LSi7s as front left and right speakers in a small setup, or surrounds in a larger one. Nice extras include anti-diffraction grilles for spacious, accurate imaging, and 2 pairs of 5-way, gold-plated binding post terminals for biamping or biwiring.
